Strawberry and Mango Crumble

It's summer! This fruit crisp is so easy and good. I made it before it got dark the other night, after I put the baby to bed (which is pretty early - usually 7ish). I added basil, but if you aren't a HUGE fan, don't do it - we just had a ton leftover from the Farmers Market. I originally wanted rhubarb and strawberries, but sadly, Whole Paycheck Foods was out. Mango was the closest thing to tart rhubarb that was fresh that day.

I tossed all of the fruit and basil together with some sugar (I used the raw kind), lemon juice, and cornstarch.

Next, I made the crumble part - oats, flour (I used spelt), butter, and cinnamon.

After a quick bake, it was crispy and bubbly.

Stella totally photo bombed me! She always does that. Silly dog.

I used this recipe (substituting mango for rhubarb)
